The second meeting of the Strategic Council of the First International Congress and the Fourth National Congress of Applied Microbiology was held jointly between the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Technologies of the University of Isfahan and the Association of Microbial Sciences and Technologies on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Technologies of the University of Isfahan.

In this meeting, attended by the faculty members of the University of Isfahan and the board members of the Iranian Association of Microbial Sciences and Technologies, fundamental issues of holding the congress were discussed, and at the end, the new poster and logo of the International Congress of Applied Microbiology were unveiled.

In this meeting, two prominent professors, Dr. Iraj Nahvi and Dr. Emtiazi, while supporting the holding of this congress, emphasized presenting the existing challenges in the country in various sections of the congress.

The First International Congress and the Fourth National Congress of Applied Microbiology, with a special focus on the production and application of bioactive microbial products, will be held from May 14 to May 15, 2025, for two days at the Prophet Mohammad Conference Center of the University of Isfahan.
