The third meeting of the Strategic Council for the first International and fourth National Congress of Applied Microbiology was held virtually with the presence of the members of the Scientific Committee of the Applied Microbiology Congress. In this meeting, the status of forming the Scientific Committee of this Congress was reviewed, and various topics were discussed among the members of this committee.

In this meeting, Dr. Zahra Etemadi Far and Dr. Mohammad Reza Soudi attended as the Scientific Secretaries of the Congress. Also, Dr. Mohammad Rabani Khorasgani attended this meeting to review and summarize the discussed topics.

During this meeting, it was decided to invite microbiology professionals from all over the country, including professors and faculty members of universities across the country, to enhance the organization of the Congress. In another part of the meeting, the importance of a strong international presence and inviting professors and researchers from reputable universities around the world was emphasized, and decisions were made in this regard.

The first International and fourth National Congress of Applied Microbiology, with a special focus on the production and application of bioactive microbial products, will be held for three days from May 14-16, 2025, at the Prophet Muhammad Conference Center at Isfahan University.
