Article Writing Guidelines Revised for the Congress

The organizing committee of the International Applied Microbiology Congress has published the second edition of the article writing guidelines. This guideline has been prepared to resolve ambiguities and answer questions from respected applicants.
According to the news headquarters of the International Applied Microbiology Congress, the Scientific Committee of this Congress revised the article writing guidelines on February 15, 2025. This is the second edition of the article writing guidelines for the International Applied Microbiology Congress and has been prepared to resolve ambiguities and improve the quality of articles.
It is worth noting that articles submitted to the Congress Secretariat so far are valid, and if any changes are needed, the authors will be informed, and the organizing committee will provide necessary assistance.
The fourth National Congress and the first International Congress of Applied Microbiology, with a special focus on the production and application of bioactive microbial products, will be held on May 14-15, 2025, for two days at the Prophet Muhammad Conference Center at Isfahan University. Applicants can benefit from an early registration discount. This edition of the Applied Microbiology Congress is organized by Isfahan University in collaboration with the Iranian Society for Microbial Sciences and Technologies.

The article formatting template is available on amc2025.ui.ac.ir.
- Upon acceptance of review abstract, authors may submit complete articles, with a length of 2500-3000 words, including a maximum of 5 figures and tables formatted according to the abstract guidelines.
- Articles will be published in a collection if accepted by the review committee.
- Abstracts and/or submitted articles must be complete and free of errors, ready for publication. Scientific, spelling, and technical errors will affect the review process, and the congress bears no responsibility for correcting potential issues.
- The determination of the presentation format (poster or oral) is solely the responsibility of the scientific committee and the policy council.
- A presenter may submit one to a maximum of two articles, either as a poster or an oral presentation.
- The corresponding author must be a faculty member or a technical expert from the relevant industrial unit, and the presenter must register for the congress.
- Presentations of posters and articles must be in person, and the policy council may consider other presentation methods, including virtual formats, and will promptly inform participants of any new possibilities.
- All accepted articles will be presented in the corresponding proceedings booklet as PDF files after the congress.
- When submitting an article on the congress website, ensure the authors' information is correctly registered and that the article file is uploaded accurately.
- Researchers should note that this congress does not accept abstracts and articles generated by artificial intelligence. Additionally, articles must not be copied and pasted from other sources.
- Using software like LIP (Language Interface Pack) or other proofreading software can help authors with text proofreading.
- Articles will be reviewed by the scientific committee and the congress reviewers, and the results will be communicated through the congress website.
